Long time not see

Indeed, it has been quite a while...
We often craft our plans, only for life to surprise us in the most unexpected ways, filled with its own highs and lows.
I admire those who manage to stick to their commitments month after month. It's such an incredible quality, and I can only imagine the sense of achievement and progress it brings to their lives. It feels so distant from my own experience! For me, it often seems like a step forward followed by four steps back.
On the other hand, friends often tell me they see me as someone who keeps promises. It’s a reassuring label, yet it feels like I’m playing a different melody in my mind.
It’s intriguing how our perspectives can shape our stories. What I often see as setbacks, my friends view as determination. Sometimes, stepping outside our minds is necessary to see the broader picture.
When I graduated, I was buzzing with dreams of top marketing roles. I pictured a space where creativity blended seamlessly with strategy.
Upon relocating to Hungary, I had plans to move to Australia after two years on a working holiday visa before turning 30, but instead, I ended up spending six years in Hong Kong, with only a quick trip to Sydney to soothe my dreams.
I have come to understand that life does not unfold linearly. Instead, it's an intricate dance filled with twists, bumps, and unexpected joys. Accepting life’s unpredictability has become a guiding principle together with being loyal to your own values.
